On March 11, the tunnel construction of East Coast Rail Link(ECRL) Project reported another good news, Wendong Tunnel No. 1 (Tunnel No. 4), Lengdeng Tunnel No. 1 (Tunnel No. 12) and Lengdeng Tunnel No. 2 (Tunnel No. 13) were completed on the same day, and 9 of the 11 conventional tunnels constructed by the seventh division of the project have been completed.
The three tunnels that have been broken through this time are all double-lane single-hole tunnels. Wendong Tunnel No. 1 has a total length of 561 meters; Lengdeng No. 1 Tunnel has a total length of 270 meters and is designed to be all Class IV and V surrounding rock; Lengdeng No. 2 Tunnel has a total length of 477 meters, of which grade IV and V surrounding rock accounts for 55%. In the process of tunnel construction, the project strictly follows the principle of "pipe advancement, strict grouting, short footage, weak blasting, strong support, early closure, and diligent measurement", and strictly follows the design plan for construction.
